Titled ‘Tripoli’s Voices from The Margins,’ my photography project draws inspiration from Lebanon’s heterogeneous society and the stark contrasts that exist within it. Through my lens, I ventured into deprived communities in the North, documenting their daily lives in street markets and refugee camps. While these photos offer only a glimpse into a few neighborhoods, they aim to shed light on the voices that often go unheard and the darkness that shrouds them.

I discovered contrast permeates every stratum of life in Lebanon. Behind every dark building lies the most genuine smiles.
