Submissions

We encourage any and all voices/eyes to submit and be represented.

We are a Brown photography publication, so the only prerequisite to submitting is that you are a student photographer! We look forward to seeing your submissions.

Submit a few of your favorite images! These can be shot on your phone, film camera, digital camera, etc. If selected, images will be featured on our Instagram.

The Optic is excited to announce its third issue, themed nostalgia:

We invite you to reflect on the essence of nostalgia through the camera lens. Pursue the people, places, objects, and sensations that evoke a wistful longing for the past.

We are looking for at least 3 - 15 photographs. These can be shot on your phone, film camera, digital camera, etc. and will be featured in our issue (online and on social media). Also, a project statement will be asked.
